I’m Annie, a sustainability activist inspiring others to live a more conscious life, for themselves and for the planet.
I started Living Laboratory with the idea of “experimenting” to find my best self and share those experiences with you. As this space has evolved and as I’ve learned more about the Earth, our personal choices, and the food industry, my main goal is to help educate and inspire others to live a life that is both good for themselves and the planet by sharing my experiences. I could talk all day about sustainability topics, food, wellness, travel and animals (especially dogs). I can’t claim to be an expert on every topic, but I’m an avid learner who believes that when we know better, we will do better.
I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Architecture. I am currently living in Chicago,IL with my super supportive husband Sam and our dog/child Louie. My family lives in St. Louis, MO so that’s why you might see some STL photos on the blog/ Instagram. By day, I work at HOLLY HUNT Chicago, a high-end Interior Design showroom, selling textiles to Interior Designers. By night you’ll find me cooking, working out, hanging out with Sam, Louie & Bean, and working on making the world a better place.
5 unique things about me:

I’ve played tennis since I was 6 years old (my whole family plays as well as most of Sam’s)
